How to Have a Lovely Day

I hope you're all having a lovely day so far. Today I came across this picture and I thought I might share it with you. These are 10 simple steps that you can follow to have a lovely day. I'm sure if you follow them your day will be even more lovely than it already is.

Right now I'm in a hurry so I better run. I'm still working on the makeover for the blog so this next week  you'll see some changes.

It's Time for Something New

It's time for this blog to get a make over, right? I've been thinking about that for long time but I never got the chance and time to do so. Now, since I have more free time I'm ready to improve this blog.  Before I start, I wanted to ask you a few questions and feel free to be honest:


1*What do you think this blog needs in order to be more successful?


2* What kind of posts would you like to see from now on (like collage outfits, inspiration, photography, DIY, interviews...)?


3*If you have any other ideas or suggestions feel free to comment.

Summer, Summer, Summer!!!

By now I can finally feel it; it's summer! 
Some obvious evidence: 
*you can not stop yourself from drinking water every 5 minutes, 
*most of the people on the streets are wearing their sunglasses (a.k.a. Ray Ban) , 
*the air conditioner is turned on most of the time, 
*and finally, it's boiling hot outside and everyone wishes they had a pool in their backyard and could spend their entire day there. 


These days I've been really missing those cold winter days when you had to wear one of those huge puffy coats to prevent yourself from freezing and becoming an ice cube. Don't get me wrong, I do like summer. Of course, who doesn't? But sometimes I can't bear with the high temperatures.


Anyways, today when I was looking through some editorials on the web I found the one above and thought that it portrayed exactly what you feel when it's summer.

Saturday Outfit: Trench Love

Happy Saturday to everyone!!! I hope you are all enjoying your weekend so far.


Trench coats are a statement piece. They can be easily worn with almost anything and they can change an outfit from being plain and boring to casual and chic. In this season's catwalks trench coats have been a protagonist in many designers's collections. Just to name a few Burberry Prorsum, one of my personal favorites, Loewe, Chloé, Dior, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and Jean Paul Gaultier.
Believe me, although you might think "Why would I need a trench coat when it's 40ºC outside?", trench coats can come really handy when you're spending an evening at the beach and it's a bit windy. They can also become your best friends wehn it's pouring rain outside just like this:

You can also get inspired from some celebrities and you'll realize that trench coats can be worn in an infinite amount of ways.

YSL Arty Rings

Okay, I have to admit it, I'm obsessed with these rings. They are now on my priority wish list...
You don't know what rings I'm talking about? Well, if you aren't able to read my thoughts (probably most of you aren't)  I'm sure you'll know what I'm talking about as soon  as you look at these pictures below.

Yes, exactly right, they are the Arty Rings by YSL. Probably most of you have been wanting to get your fingers on one of those gorgeous rings. The Arty Rings by YSL are available in different colors and styles which include  Arty Oval (my personal favorite),  Arty Enamel, and last but not least  Arty Dots.

These rings have become really popular among celebrities and fashionistas. As a result, they are almost impossible to find and they are already sold out in Net-a-Porter. 

Some people are even trying a double version (look at the left)

The word is quickly spreading and this ring has become a MUST accessory for some bloggers. 

Andy ,from Style Scrapbook, is well known for her amazing style and specially her YSL ring. Definitey an example to follow.

Fourteen year old Estonian blogger, Anni, has her own version of the YSL Arty Oval ring. What do you think? Pretty creative, right? Visit her blog here.

I still don't really know what makes them so special, what's the secret behind their popularity. Maybe their unusual unique shape and color of the stones makes them so appealing. Or maybe, they are also easy to match with everything and even look good with so many different outfits. Well, I don't really know what the mystery behind all this is but I know that I wouldn't mind to wear one

Don't think I've forgotten to do the Saturday Outfit. No, of course not but I was just waiting to included in this post. And of course, the YSL ring will be the protagonist.

Vintage Gourmet

I know, I know,...I should update more often! I keep telling myself that every time but unfortunately, I can never find the time to blog. These past two weeks I've been extremely busy with tons of things to do and blogging wasn't exactly in my priority list. Hopefully, I'll soon find more time to blog and really improve this blog which is something that I have been wanting to do since a long time. 

Speaking of things that I've been wanting to do, when I saw these photographs, imidiately thought of sharing them with you. This editorial from the June issue of Vogue Russia, is not something which you usually find flipping through your daily magazines while drinking a coffee from Starbucks. There is something that made me smile when I looked at these photographs. I hope they'll have the same effect on you :)
