It is almost time for a new season to start. The leaves are starting to fall and as time flies each day becomes shorter. I hope you  could all enjoy life pleasures this summer: eating ice cream, going to the beach, hanging out with your dear friends, and smiling to every new day. Don't worry, summer will always be there for us and in just a year it will be back.

There once was a girl who wore sweaters everyday and she was known as the sweater girl. Her sweater collection was huge, from Prada to Missoni and a few Louis Vuitton and Dole&Gabbana too. But all she dreamed about, during day and night, was getting a new one. So, to pay off her bills and earn a few bucks, she had to babysit her little brother all the time. However, she never gave up. And as time passed, her sweater collection grew and became part of the Guinness World Records. One day, Grace Coddington called from Vogue and asked “Would you like to be part of the September issue?” and the sweater girl replied “Yes of course, it would be a pleasure.”
And this is the sweater girl, a girl who fell in love with sweaters.

THE END
P.S.: I hope you liked my story :)

Inspiration in a Different Way

I know I usually share with you some pictures that inspire me either from magazine editorials or street style.
Today, I'm going to show you something different. Inspiration will come to life with these short movies I've found lately. I know youtube clips somethimes take a while to load, but believe meit's worth it!!!

This has really nothing to do with fashion but I just thought it was really impressive.

I didn't even know a Chanel Amabssador existesd. Well, you can always learn something new every day!

Some Parisian Street Style will never hurt.

I hope you liked this different kind of inspiration which at the same time is inspirational, right?

zarafall2010_02

I’ve shopped in Zara my whole life and I’ll continue shopping there. I know it’s not Chanel Haute Couture but Zara is simply Zara, a place where fashion can become affordable.

And here’s a sneak peak of what you’ll find in stores these next few months.

Something Arrived in the Mail

After I interviewed Ana from Abataba I couldn’t resist buying a couple of her adorable jewelry. I just received my order and I couldn’t be happier with it.
Apart from the fact that my order arrived promptly and everything was neatly wrapped with blue tissue paper and undamaged, I love the materials of the items. And now you’re probably wondering what I got so here are some pictures.

Today I came across Patrizia Pepe's Fall 2010 Ad Campaign, and you know, I'm wondering who the girl behind all of the bizare objects is.

When I first saw the ad I thought: "Why would they hide the model's face?".  "After all, doesn't the model of an ad campaign reflect the kind of women that would wear the clothes of the brand? "
I came to two conclusions
-Maybe, the Patrizia Pepe woman likes to be mysterious
- and the brand wanted to do something different and fun to attract the customer's attention.

On the other hand, I feel that the objects take away the focus of the clothes. Instead of looking at what the model is wearing, you look at the object hiding the model's face.  But then, I also feel like the fact that the rubber duck is hiding the model's face makes you look back at the sparkly golden dress and analyze it to imagine what she must have looked like. Similar to what a detective would do who's trying to find out someone's identity.

Overall I think this Ad Campaign is fun, unique, and at the same time mysterious, you?

Have a great Sunday.
P.S:Are you asking yourself the same question; "Who is Patrizia?"
